After my experience at this school, I regret to say that my overall impression is quite negative. The administration's handling of various matters left much to be desired, and the school counselors seemed to lack the necessary skills to effectively support students. Throughout my years there, I unfortunately faced instances of bullying, physical violence and humiliation, despite seeking help from the counselors. On the other hand, I must acknowledge a few exceptional teachers who genuinely cared for their students and stood against any instances of bullying.One area of concern was the overzealousness of the staff when it came to enforcing rules. They often confiscated personal belongings, such as phones, for minor infractions like taking pictures or filming, even with consent. Moreover, I found it disheartening that the administration turned a blind eye to serious issues. For instance, when a student used tear gas in class as a supposed joke, there were no consequences. Additionally, the prevalence of vaping among even the youngest students was alarming, with minimal punishments being handed out when caught.Furthermore, I observed a clear disparity in treatment, as certain individuals, often children of well-known figures or staff members, seemed to be exempt from consequences. This unfair treatment fostered a negative environment where disregard for rules became commonplace. The overall atmosphere at the school was deeply unsettling, and the trauma I experienced during my time there led me to seek therapy.It is unfortunate to note that regardless of your academic achievements or participation in contests, the school fails to recognize and appreciate students who may have crossed paths with them negatively. This lack of recognition can have a significant impact on a student's morale and motivation.In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend this school to others. I urge parents to consider alternative options where their children can have a happier and healthier learning experience.
