Lava Drops Guitars

After wildfire in early springtime destroyed my home/studio I immediately began searching for musical instruments to replace those lost in the fire. In a daze from the catastrophe, this was soothing therapy to keep my churning thoughts and emotions on a steady keel.After stumbling upon Lava Drops via Youtube and spending a few weeks researching its guitars and the artist designing and making them, I decided to contact him to see if he would be able to create a pair of new custom instruments for me. By midsummer we met on line, talked and formulated a design plan for a fretless Unibody Drop and a fretted Drop made with heat-processed woods. Then Rapolas went to work on both instruments, readily discussing design aspects with me as the project progressed and applying his unique artistic touch to make the instruments ideal for my specific musical needs and aesthetic desires.The FLUXFAZE Drop and PHOENIX Drop arrived before winter holidays commenced, their beauty and quality greatly boosting my fire-singed mood and spirits as realization of all details of losses to the wildfire were still being steadily recalled and fully understood. Rapolas was as gracious and professional in all ways I could hope for as he created these guitars, and continues to be so now as I am getting to know and use them in a temporary studio. His good nature, empathy and professionalism throughout the project provided additional soothing effect I very much appreciate as much as his artistic skills and dedication to his art. Each time I play these instruments he has created they comfort and heal deeply, and having opportunity to get to know the artist a bit has been gratifying.Thank you, Rapolas, for all you have done to help me rebuild and recover from disaster.
